The Tata Institute of Social Sciences (www.tiss.edu) invites interested candidates to apply for the post of Professional Assistant (Library) to be filled on contract basis for a period of one year initially and extendable based on performance of the candidate and the requirement of the Institute.

Educational Qualification and Experience:

A Master’s Degree in Library Science / Information Science /
Documentation Science or an equivalent professional degree with at
least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever
grading system is followed) and a consistently good academic record
with knowledge of computerization of library.
Candidates with minimum 1 year of relevant experience
