The State Selection Board (SSB), Odisha has released Advertisement No. 02/2026 for 225 Librarian vacancies in Non-Government Aided Colleges across the state. The online application process is active, with the deadline to apply set for May 30, 2026.
  • Total Vacancies: 225 (113 UR, 58 ST, 35 SC, 19 SEBC)
  • Salary: Pay Level 9 (approx. ₹35,400 – ₹112,400/month)
  • Age Limit: 21 to 42 years (as of January 1, 2026)
  • Last Date to Apply: June 12, 2026 (11:45 PM)
Eligibility Criteria
  • Educational Qualification: You must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Library Science (B.Lib.Sc) or an equivalent degree from a recognized institution.
  • He/She must be a Citizen of India and domicile of Odisha.
  • Language: Candidates should have the ability to read, write, and speak Odia (must have passed ME standard with Odia as a language subject).
Exam Pattern & Selection Process
The selection is based on a Written Test and Career Assessment:
  • Written Examination (150 Marks): 150 objective-type (Multiple Choice) questions carrying 1.5 mark each.
