Pay : Pay Band Rs 37,400/- - 67,000/- plus Academic Grade Pay Rs 10,000/-
Age Limits : Age limit for the post of Librarian may be followed as per the Govt. of W.B. Rules/ Guidelines / Order in this regard and their amendments from time to time.
Essential Qualifications :
i. A Master’s Degree in Library Science / Information Science / documentation with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of B in UGC seven point scale and consistently good academic record.
ii. At least 13 years as a Deputy Librarian in a University library or 18 years experience as a college Librarian.
iii. Evidence of innovative library service and organization of published work.
iv. A minimum score in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based on Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS) as stipulated in the UGC Regulations 2016 in Appendix III Table VII.

How to Apply :

Online Application form submitted by the applicants should be properly filled in all respects by the applicants concerned and all the entries therein must be substantiated by supporting documents without which such applications would be treated as cancelled. Applicants are requested to take a printout of filled in application form and send the same along with all supporting documents including payment details and self attested API score for the post of Professor, Associate Professor and Librarian by speed post only to The Registrar, Kazi Nazrul University, Nazrul Road, P.O. – Kalla (C.H.), Asansol – 713340, West Bengal latest by 25/10/2019. The University will not be responsible for any postal delay.
Application should send in a cover envelop superscribed as “Application for the post of……………..in the department of…………………, Category:…………..”
