Name of the Post- Library Assistant
Number of vacancies- 01
Educational Qualification-
1) Degree of recognized University or equivalent
2) Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent Diploma in Library and Information Science of a recognized University or equivalent diploma in Library Science of a recognized University/Institute or equivalent.
Job Responsibility-
1. Issue and receipt of books in various sections.
2. for correct shelving of books and periodicals in the sections in which they are posted.
3. To ensure for general cleanliness and tidiness of furniture and fixtures in the section.
4. Security of books.
5. To provide reference services.
6. To guide the students for finding reading material.
7. To take stock taking of books and periodicals in every year.
8. For any other duties that may be assigned to them by the Librarian from time to time.
9. Ready to work in all shifts.
Freshers may also apply
