The Library Found behind a Sealed Wall containing 84,000 hand Written Sutras and Scroll

A library in a monastery in Tibet. It was discovered in 2003, behind a sealed wall, containing 84.000 hand written sutras and scrolls telling the history humanity back 10.000 years. They were written in Sanskrit, Chinese, Tibetan & Mongolian. But some says it is not 10,000 year old it may be 1000 year old.

Know about the Father of Library Movement in Odisha

Dasarathi Patnaik (Dasia Aja) can be rightly designated as the father of library movement in Odisha. As his life’s only ambition and mission was to create awareness among the people of our state regarding the necessity of libraries. Late Dasharathi Pattanaik was born on 12 July 1907 in a little known village namely Udaypur in the district of Nayagarh. By his sheer will power and sincere effort he could be able to keep his foot print in the literary and cultural fields of Odisha overriding the iron barriers of little education, economic scarcity and underdeveloped rural atmosphere.

Know about the Library Man: Mr. Sanjay Kachhap from Jharkhand whose name noted by PM Modi in 'Mann ki Baat' Programme



After getting a government job, he started a campaign to establish a library, understanding the problems of poor children. Due to which people now came to know him by the name of 'Library Man'. Friends of Library: A scheme of Tamilnadu Government to promote reading habit
