Pay Scale : Rs.15,600/- – Rs.39,100/- plus Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 6,000/
Age Limit : Not exceeding 36 years
Qualification : 
(A) Essential :
(i) A good academic record with at least a high second class (B+) or 55% marks in Master Degree in Library Science or equivalent plus a second class Master Degree in a subject other than Library Science from a recognized University.
(B) Desirable :
(i) Good power of expression in Bengali- spoken and written.
(ii) Knowledge in any Indian Language, other than the mother tongue and English.
(iii) Experience in the post of Librarian in any recognized Institution.

3.Must have experience in using computer and computer applications, working with library software and digital library management systems.
